Chaos and Order was born from a place deep inside me — a moment when I felt the ache of looking back. I painted Lot’s wife just as she turned to salt, caught between the fire of what was and the unknown of what could be. Her stillness speaks to that part of us that clings to yesterday, even when God is calling us forward. This painting holds my own struggle too — the fear of letting go, the longing for what’s familiar, and the quiet knowing that we can’t carry the past into our future.
