Chaos & Order

$35,000.00

My original oil painting 48”x24” Chaos and Order captures the haunting moment Lot’s wife turns to salt — frozen between past and future. I painted her at the edge of two worlds, where chaos swirls behind and order waits ahead. To me, it’s a reminder that looking back can cost us everything meant to be.

Chaos and Order was born from a place deep inside me — a moment when I felt the ache of looking back. I painted Lot’s wife just as she turned to salt, caught between the fire of what was and the unknown of what could be. Her stillness speaks to that part of us that clings to yesterday, even when God is calling us forward. This painting holds my own struggle too — the fear of letting go, the longing for what’s familiar, and the quiet knowing that we can’t carry the past into our future.
