Meet Annahid Khorrami

Annahid is a faith inspired fine artist whose work explores the intersection of beauty, Scripture, and human testimony. Through oil painting, she seeks to tell stories of redemption, hope, and the quiet moments when God meets ordinary people in extraordinary ways.

Born in Iran, Annahid later made the United States her home, where her artistic journey found its deepest purpose. Although she was recognized as a gifted young artist in her homeland, life first led her into a successful career as a cosmetologist. Yet the desire to create never left her.

At the age of twenty seven, a single photograph changed the course of her life. Looking beyond the image itself, she saw the emotion it held and felt compelled to capture it with paint rather than a camera. That moment led her to oil painting, where she discovered the artistic language she had been searching for all along.

Driven by an unrelenting desire to grow, Annahid continued to study throughout her life, later expanding her creative skills through graphic communication and digital arts. In 2018, she took a leap of faith, leaving her longtime career to devote herself fully to painting.

Her work is deeply inspired by the Bible, especially the stories of women whose lives were forever changed because they were seen, loved, and transformed by God. This vision became the foundation of her ongoing collection, She Was Seen, a series that invites viewers to encounter both the humanity of these women and the compassion of God.

Annahid's work has been recognized by the Luxembourg Art Prize for four consecutive years, from 2022 through 2025. Her original paintings are held in private collections and have touched collectors and viewers around the world.

She lives and paints in Tucson, Arizona, where she continues to create art that points hearts toward faith, hope, and the enduring love of God.
